My husband and I are going through a very difficult time right now. After years of working hard, I recently had to go to a special hospital to take care of my mental health. Because of this, I am no longer able to work and am now on social security disability. We have dreams of having our own home one day, but right now, our main concern is simply putting food on the table and paying for basic bills like our phone and electric.

Donations will help us cover the essentials—groceries for every meal, food for our beloved cats, and keeping our home cool as the weather gets warmer. We are also in desperate need of a new mattress, as ours is 25 years old and my back pain from a terrible car accident makes it even harder to get through each day. The accident was terrifying, but I am grateful every day that my son and I survived, even though I still suffer from the pain.
