Hi, my name is Ashley Fortin, and I am the cousin of Christina Damon.

Christina is a woman with a heart of gold; she is a full-time Mom to two amazing kids, Emma and Isaiah; Christina is also working full-time running the Student Support Center at New Durham Elementary School. Christina was given the devastating news that she would need a new kidney and that she would need emergency dialysis. Undergoing this treatment can take a toll on anyone, but Christina had a positive mind frame and was willing to see the positives to all negative news. Christina kept her spirits up, started the dialysis process and began the journey of finding a new kidney. Christina has undergone multiple procedures and began driving to and from her house and job for dialysis treatments at local hospitals. Christina was recently brought to the hospital with news of staff infections that caused her to go into Sepsis despite her positive outlook. Christina will now need to go to the hospital for therapies against the infection three times a week and continue dialysis treatments. We are setting up this GoFundMe to assist with the loss of wages, medical bills and help as gas prices increase.
