Help Christina Compete for Team USA in Sweden

Hello, my name is Christina Elder. I am a wife, mom of 3, teacher/coach, and track athlete. I will be competing for Team USA at the World Masters Athletics Track and Field Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden August 13th-26th.

For a while I've struggled with asking for donations for my track journey, as I am blessed with the best job in the world and a very supportive community. Ive had a couple of people reach out about how they can help support, so I am posting this as an option.

As a teacher I must take unpaid personal days (because we are only allotted 3 a year). With my husband switching jobs this year after a company wide layoff it has been a challenging year for us financially. We both trust the Lord and He has provided, and we are beyond grateful that I even get the opportunity to compete in Sweden.

I wanted to extend a special thanks to my school district who is allowing me to miss the first two weeks of school to go represent our country and chase my dreams. I could not be more grateful for the administration!! Being able to be a teacher and an athlete is such a blessing to me.

Any funds raised will help paid for my unpaid time off as well as food, accommodations, etc. while in Sweden. Tyler is coming with me for support, and our babies will stay back home with our amazing parents.

We are grateful for any amount given, or even just prayers for a safe journey and being far from home and our babies for 16 days.
