Bryan is raising this fundraiser for his friend Christina and her puppy, Pua, after something heartbreaking happened. A neighbor shot Pua with a pellet gun because Pua was barking, and the injury was nearly fatal. Pua had to be rushed into emergency surgery after the pellet entered her back and damaged her diaphragm, pancreas, intestine, and colon. By some miracle, Pua survived and is now home recovering, but Christina has been left carrying the emotional and financial weight of saving her beloved puppy’s life. To get Pua the emergency care she needed, Christina took out a loan she could not afford, and the vet bill has already reached $7,600.

This fundraiser will help Christina repay the loan she took out for Pua’s surgery, cover Pua’s ongoing medications, and provide the special diet Pua now needs during recovery because of the damage to her pancreas. It will also help pay for a dog sitter for the next week or so while Christina is at work and serving jury duty, since Pua cannot be left alone all day right now. Please support Christina and Pua during this difficult recovery. Any donation, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden and give Pua the care she needs to keep healing. If you are unable to give, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Christina and Pua in your thoughts would also mean so much.
