Hi friends and family,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. My mom, Christen Barbee, was recently diagnosed with both kidney and ovarian cancer. These are words no family ever wants to hear. She is the strongest woman I know, always putting everyone else before herself, and now she’s facing the biggest fight of her life.

Christen and her husband, Terry, are small business owners in Southwest Florida who work incredibly hard every day. Unfortunately, they do not have health insurance to help cover the overwhelming medical expenses that come with this diagnosis. Between appointments, treatments, medications, and everyday costs, it’s more than our family can manage on our own.
