My Name is Christie Smith I am a single mom to two wonderful children that are 21 and 13. We live in Salisbury Md. My 21 year old has a rare disease called Melas. Along with his Melas he has polycystic kidney disease. Life at the moment has dealt me a ruff hand  and with the holidays approaching also my health declining any donation will be greatly appreciated.Last week a deer totaled my car and today I got the news from my doctors at Hopkins that I am in need of a kidney transplant.
