Financial support for children after mothers sudden death.

Donation protected

My name is Dylan. I am seeking financial donations for my niece Morgan Ramey (24) and Nephew Jacob Ramey (12) after the sudden passing of their mother, Christie Dvorak on Monday August 18th, 2025.

Christie passed away suddenly on Monday August 18th, 2025 at 8:15 A.M at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore due to an infection in her amputated leg. Christie leaves behind her beautiful children, daughter Morgan (24) and Son Jacob (12), her fur babies. Parents Leonard and Shirley, brothers Dustin and myself (Dylan) and sister Carrie. Aunt Jan and Uncle Dale, Aunt Barby, nieces and nephews and great nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Christie's sudden death left a big hole in all of her love ones hearts. Christie was scheduled for Tuesday August 19th to be transferred to John Hopkins hospital in Baltimore for more professional help that she and everyone was excited about. God had other plans, that I will understand one day. Please keep everyone in there prayers especially her kids Morgan and Jacob.

Christie and I are eleven years apart and were the closest out of our four siblings.

May Christie rest in peace without pain no longer.

Christie had no Will set up and the life insurance she had and advised that would take care of her children and funeral cost to get started failed. Her 17k life insurance had a tiny fine print, that left Christie’s kids with what she put towards it around ($300) and wont pay out the 17k policy. Her kids will need all the help they can get. Myself and the rest of the family are helping as much as we can. It's almost unbearable to think about my 12 year old nephew Jacob losing his mother at such a young age. All the great events / accomplishments Jacob will have, without his mother physically by his side. Morgan included. Its been hard enough on them while Christie was away so long in the hospital. They both know that they're loved and have all the support we can give them and are blessed to have a mother like Christie.

Below is the original story I had for my sister.

Help with medical bills, home repairs / financial support. Christie is currently staying at Levindale Hebrew and Geriatric Center for rehabilitation, located in Baltimore, Maryland. Christie has been sent to the hospital three separate times while in the rehabilitation center for a high fever, with a reaction to new medication.

Christie is 51 years old, a single mother to a 12-year-old son (Jacob) and a 24-year-old daughter (Morgan). Christie is an animal lover, with two cats and a Golden Retriever (Dexter). Christie has always worked up until two years ago due to her health condition (end-stage renal failure). Christie has never been away from her children, and this life-changing event is a nightmare, to say the least. Christie was giving herself dialysis at home and able to drive her vehicle prior to this situation.

Christie has a loving heart and is a person everyone could always count on for help. Unfortunately, Christie’s health has recently taken a turn for the worse. Christie had an outpatient vascular surgery on May 19th, 2025. Unfortunately, the surgery went south, causing Christie to be rushed to the hospital, where she had her lower right leg below the knee amputated.

Prior to this unforeseen life-changing event, two years ago Christie was diagnosed with end-stage renal failure (kidney disease) and is currently taking dialysis, patiently waiting for a kidney donor. Christie is also diabetic and has some other health issues.

Christie’s friend since the 6th grade, Trisha, has been a godsend, to say the least, helping Christie with multiple things. along with Christie’s neighbor Barbara, our parents (Leonard & Shirley), her children, myself, sister (Carrie) and Brother (Dustin).

Christie’s current home is in poor condition and needs help with multiple areas (roof , porch, kitchen floor. Christie is one who does not like to ask for help and feels guilty asking for it.

I've reached out to multiple resources in Christie’s area with little help. However, I am currently working with Chop Tank and Bay Area for Independent Living for help with a handicap ramp. Thank you in advance. All help and support is greatly appreciated at this time.
