Last night, Christie Mokry and Evan Bozarth, dear friends of mine, experienced a house fire that turned their world upside down in an instant. Thankfully, Christie and Evan are alive and safe, and so is their little hero dog, Bootsie. Even with that enormous relief, there is still so much uncertainty ahead as they begin to face the fallout from the fire and figure out what, if anything, they may be able to recover from their home.

Christie and Evan are the kind of people who are always showing up to help others, and now they need that same care and support in return.
