Help Support Christianne's Life-Changing Surgery
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
I am reaching out to you with great difficulty, and with much protest from my sister Christianne, for your help. Both Christianne and her husband, Gus, are incredibly stubborn about asking for help, so I am doing so on their behalf.
After a medical appointment in Washington D.C., Christianne has been diagnosed with congenital neuroproliferative vestibulodynia (CNV)—a painful condition caused by an excess of nerve growth in the vestibule, believed to be a congenital birth defect. This causes unbearable pain around the vestibule of the vagina for everyday activities such as sitting or standing for prolonged periods, gynecological exams, and more. On top of that, she is also battling endometriosis, which has only compounded her intense pain and made starting a family seem nearly impossible.
Why This Surgery Is The Only Option
It has taken nearly eight years to get this diagnosis. For the first time in years, Gus and Christianne have hope. There have been countless doctor's appointments, physical therapies, and several surgeries that have left them with no answers and no relief. Until now. After exhausting all possible medical treatments, surgery is the last and only option for relief. This procedure will remove the excess nerve growth and give Christianne the chance to finally live pain-free.
Christianne and Gus flew across the country to see one of the most specialized gynecologists in the world. He is part of a small handful of doctors who not only have a strong success rate with this condition (97%) but are also actively researching it. After a thorough evaluation, he confidently told them that he could help. This was the first and only conclusive answer they received.
The Cost & Why They Need Your Help
The upfront cost for surgery alone is $13,750, with an additional $535 in fees. This does not include hospital stays, medications, anesthesia, follow-up visits, travel, or lodging. Insurance will also not cover this upfront cost in any way, and the rest will be a battle.
How You Can Help
This surgery is not just about pain relief for Christianne—it’s about reclaiming her quality of life and giving them the chance to grow their family. No matter how small, every donation helps them get one step closer to this life-changing procedure. If you can’t donate, simply sharing this story means the world to them.
Thank you for your support, kindness, and generosity. With your help, Christianne and Gus can move toward a pain-free future full of possibility.
With gratitude,
