Help Christian - Multiple Stabs - Support Family

Last week Christian Michaels (a friend, amazing healer, body worker and massage therapist) was stabbed 10 times by a drug addict while he was trying to break up a fight.

Christian heard his neighbor Scott screaming for his life in the hall of their apartment building. When Christian arrived and no one else was attempting to help Scott (who is a social worker), Christian stepped in to try and calm things down and break it up.

Christian (one of the kindest, giving and sweetest men I know) had no idea that the aggressor was high on meth, and was taken by surprise when the drug addict pulled out a knife and ultimately stabbed Christian 10 times (arms, face, neck and back). The police finally arrived and arrested the addict. Both Christian and Scott were rushed to the ICU at Cedar Sinai.

I visited Christian a couple of days ago on Aug 13th (his birthday), a few days after he was out of the ICU and had moved into a normal hospital room, to bring him food and supplies and raise his spirits.

While his body is healing over the next few months (and he navigates rehab and potential nerve damage) his greatest concern is his inability to earn income to support his 18 month-old daughter and fiancée, as well as and himself.

I’ve launched this GoFundMe campaign for 3 reasons: (1) to help him pay his bills; (2) to help him support his daughter and fiancée; and (3) to help him secure a safer place to live. The goal is to give him some peace of mind so that he can focus on healing his body.

If you know Christian, you know *he is always the one giving* and *he is always the one helping others* -- I think it’s time for him to get some support from those who know his heart.

Use of Funds:

(1) to help him pay his bills;

(2) to help him support his daughter and fiancée during this period of the next few months while he is healing and unable to work; and

(3) to help him secure a safer place to live
