”Casting With Christian”

First, I want to thank every single person who has supported our family during the most painful season of our lives. Your prayers, messages, and generosity have carried us when we didn’t have the strength to stand on our own.

Out of the love we have for our son, Christian, and the way he found peace through fishing, we are in the process of starting a faith-based nonprofit foundation called “Casting With Christian”.

Christian discovered fishing during a very difficult time in his life. It became more than a hobby for him, it was a place of calm, joy, and connection. It helped him escape the stress and weight of the world, even if just for a moment. That peace is something we want to pass on to other children who are hurting.

“Casting With Christian” will focus on helping children and families who are facing hardships, including children who are hospitalized or fighting serious medical battles. Our goal is to help these kids connect with fishing the way Christian did, whether that means providing fishing gear, organizing experiences, or simply giving them something positive to look forward to.

We also want to support parents who are sitting in PICU, fighting alongside their child. Having lived that nightmare ourselves, we understand the emotional, spiritual, and financial toll it takes. Through this foundation, we hope to provide relief in practical ways, financial assistance, essential supplies, and access to professional or community support, so families can focus on what matters most: their child.

This foundation will be faith-based, rooted in our belief that God can bring purpose out of pain and light into the darkest moments. We pray that Casting With Christian becomes a source of hope, comfort, and love for families walking through storms they never asked for.
