Our brother Christian suffered an unimaginable loss early this morning due to the unexpected storm that hit Long Island.
Awakened by his elderly neighbor’s screams, Christian got out of bed and into waist high water. He was able to leave through his back door, swim to his neighbor’s yard, and rescue them and their dog from the second story window where they all awaited rescue from the
Rocky Point Fire Department.
Our brother is an electrician by trade, the proud owner of Gallowglass Electric. While his loss was total, leaving him with only a small bag of clothes and two pairs of shoes, we are asking the community for assistance with helping him to purchase a new work van and to replace his work tools.
Christian is a life long member of the community and was proud to provide the electricity that brought light to the
Rocky Point holiday tree ceremony on Broadway. Let’s make sure he’s able to do it again for us this year.
Your generosity is greatly appreciated as are any tips and/or leads regarding work vans and tool replacement.
