My name is Jeannette and I'm raising funds to help my best friend, Christian, be able to buy a new wheelchair-accessible car after his previous one was totaled due to flooding.

Christian lives with muscular dystrophy, a disease that affects his muscles' ability to create proteins, which has left him wheelchair-dependent. But despite this, he never lets it stop him from enjoying life fully and independently.

Due to the loss of his car, it has become increasingly more difficult for him to leave the house, including for important medical needs and doctor's visits.
