Hey There Everyone
>>> not so lil life update<<<
It’s been a wild ride lately and I wanted to finally share a little bit about what is going on with me + my health. I figured it was time for more people to know and I am hoping that my journey over the next few months to a year will be one that can help others as well!
Thank you to those who have already reached out. I appreciate your kind thoughts, good energy, and prayers sent my way.✌️

So let me give some background for the majority of you who haven’t been in the loop:
About four years ago is when I started this wild ride. When I graduated high school, I really wasn’t sure what was supposed to be in the cards for me, but the cards I got - not a super great hand. Between relational & physical trauma + spontaneous passing out - it was really a “blast.” Well, things got worse - especially for my health. Passing out has been gradually more frequent since 2021 to 2025. With my first year only having passed out 2 times in total and in the past two months alone, I have passed out 3 times! Since 2025 has started, I have passed out 8 times. Over the past four years, my energy has depleted, my hopes have been crushed, the ability to stand for long periods of time is often difficult, motivation has disappeared - overall it’s had its detrimental effects. In the past year alone, everything exponentially increased and a new set of health challenges decided to make their appearance. In June, the day before I was to be boarding a cruise vacation with my best friend, I ended up in the ER instead with some of the most excruciating stomach pains I had ever felt after a day of non-stop vomiting and diarrhea. Oh man, did those problems continue to color my summer. The ER wanted to tell me that it was my period. I have Endometriosis, so my cramps can get insanely bad. The pains I was feeling that day weren’t even close to my cramps; they were WAY WORSE. I thought I was dying in that hospital bed. Doctor after doctor visit, nobody really wanted to address the problems I was facing; they just wanted to write me quick prescriptions and send me on my way. At the beginning of the spring, I weighed in at anywhere from 127lbs - 130lbs. After spending an entire summer with unexplainable constant vomiting and diarrhea, I weigh anywhere from 105lbs - 108lbs now. Not my ideal weight and not the ideal weight of a 22-year-old gal. This past week, I finally was connected with good doctors who want to help me, and I was able to really read the cards I have been dealt.
So what are my cards and the symptoms?
✨Cardiovascular Syncope/ Low Blood Pressure-
Extreme passing out. Really random - don’t know when it is going to happen - boom suddenly I’m out! This has been the bane of my existence. I have missed concerts, vacations, hanging out with friends, snowboarding, etc. It’s been a real pain in the butt. I am finally able to get this addressed soon with a Cardiologist! ❤️They suspect a hole in my heart. Hopefully not though!
✨Thyroid Nodule-
Doctors found a suspicious lump in my Thyroid, and I will be getting an ultrasound soon to confirm that it is not cancerous.
*Please pray, wish your lucky stars, or however you ask the universe for help that it’s not!*
✨Lyme Disease-
Babesia (tick co-infection) in my gallbladder + small intestine
✨Candida Overgrowth - in small intestine + gallbladder
✨Gluten-free & Sugar-free- (For Now: Gluten & Sugar is feeding the Candida Overgrowth, which is causing over-inflammation in my brain)
This one is big for me because I have a history of Anorexia, and one of the biggest things that keeps me from going back to that eating disorder has been Italian food. I LOVE PASTA, and I also love bread, and baking is my most favorite pastime - well, not so much anymore I’m at a loss right now and trying to just force myself to be a veggie, meat, and cheese girly. Which, don’t get me wrong, I love these things! But man, it is hard when it’s the holidays, and you live for the Noodle life.
~ The Candida and Babesia are the primary causes of my brain fog, memory loss, anxiety, and nausea/stomach issues. Right now, my brain is basically on fire, and I have to stay committed to this diet to help my brain health ~
✨PTSD-
Not going to go into this deeply, but there is so much going on, and there has been just a lot for a while. I finally have the opportunity to meet with a psychiatrist and not just a psychologist. This is exciting; there has been SO much to unpack through all of this!
To anyone going through Lyme Disease, it is not for the weak of heart. The things you may be feeling right now are so difficult, and I want you to know how valued you are. YOU ARE SMART. YOU ARE STRONG. YOU ARE NOT A BURDEN. I will continue to share my journey to raise support and awareness for myself and other Lyme lads and ladies.
This is going to continue to be a long journey and one I cannot afford very easily. As of now, nobody will hire me with the problems I am facing, and I have been desperately seeking work that will just give me a consistent two days off and a full-time schedule. I still have to pay all my bills, and the Lyme medical expenses are not covered by Medicaid or any other insurance, unfortunately! My first round of medications and treatments alone were around $2602.61. I am hoping that my journey will bring more awareness to the world about Lyme and its effects and expenses so that we may one day be able to have more resources for Lyme patients like myself!!
