On January 22, 2021, my son, Christian Bordeleau, was admitted at the Baton Rouge General Hospital in Louisiana, for an urgent surgery, for a ruptured appendix. He will have to spend a few more days in this hospital, since there is a risk of infection. Moreover, it may take quite a while before he can get back to work.

The estimated cost for the hospital and the surgeon is $20,000 U.S. He lost his job at the beginning of the pandemic . Therefore, even though he found a job in a restaurant before the Holidays, his savings are "Zero". He doesn't have health insurance -- too expensive in the U.S.A. -- 

Family and grand-parents (Thorpe, Simbirski, Paré, Holtzhouse, Bordeleau, Bergeron) can not, understandably, supply enough money to cover that huge amount. This is why we are asking for your help, IF you can.  Any contribution, however small it may be, will be greatly appreciated.

We will keep you informed of the results and assure you that any excess, if there is any, will be donated to the Hospital Foundation for the treatment of patients in emergency situations.

Le 22 janvier 2021, mon fils, Christian Bordeleau,  été admis d'urgence au "Baton Rouge General Hospital" en Louisiane, oû ils  l'on opéré pour une péritonite (appendicite crevée). Étant donné le risque d'infection, il devra passer quelques jours de plus à l'hôpital. De plus, la convalescence risque d'être plutôt longue.

Les coûts sont énormes, estimés à 20,000$ U.S. Ayant perduson emploi depuis le début de la pandémie, mes économies sont épuisées, même s'il a débuté un nouvel emploi dans un restaurant un peu avant les Fêtes. Il n'a pas d'assurance -maladie -- trop dispendieux aux Etats-Unis -- ni d'assurance-emploi.

Ma famille et grands-parents (Thorpe, Simbirski, Paré, Holtzhouse, Bordeleau, bergeron) ne pourront pas fournir suffisamment d'argent pour tout payer, c'est évident. C'est pourquoi nous faisons appel à vous pour une contribution SI vous le pouvez. Tout montant, si modeste soit-il, sera grandement apprécié.

Nous vous informerons des résultats et vous assurons que tout surplus, s'il y a lieu, sera remis à la Fondation de l'hopital pour le traitement des patients en urgence.
