Hello, my name is Christian. A little about me: I am 23 years old, and I was born to a single mother who has been both physically and mentally disabled for most of my life and who has required most of my attention and care. My father, if you can call him that, was in the picture maybe three times and died of a drug overdose when I was in elementary school. I have lived my life without very much in the way of money, having survived off of my mother's disability checks and my grandmother's social security income, who was also my primary parental figure growing up.

Now, for the reason I've made this fundraiser.

For a long time(since I was 6) I have felt uncomfortable and "wrong" in my skin. It took a few more years for me to come to the conclusion that I had been living a life that was not meant for me. I have what is known as Gender Dysphoria, which is to say, I was born the wrong gender. Because of this I am trying to correct the issue, but that requires quite a bit of money. If this fundraiser goes well, a few examples of the required procedures are: One or more Vaginoplasty surgeries, Breast Augmentation Surgery, Hydrolysis, Facial Feminization Surgery, and more. The reason I have created this fundraiser is, in addition to the Gender Dysphoria, I also have severe Depression and Anxiety, for which I have only begun to receive treatment for in the last two years or so. These conditions, along with hand tremors caused by Essential Tremors, have made it difficult to get a paying job or even to get my driver's license. Due to the financial struggles brought on by these conditions, this GoFundMe fundraiser is my best hope of reaching my goals. If you choose to donate, your funds will help me pay for the surgeries, travel costs to get to the surgery, and medication.

I assure you, any donation you choose to make will go a long way towards helping me reach my goal. This transition would change my life forever, and for the better.
