As many of you know, Christian is a diehard Seattle Seahawks fan—and the crazy part? He was born into a diehard 49ers family. Both of his parents are Niners fans, and both sides of our family are Niners fans as well. Christian fell in love with the Seattle Seahawks back in 2015 at a game he attended when the Niners played the Seahawks here at Levi’s Stadium. He was only five years old, but he was completely intrigued by the Seahawks’ blue and green colors and that was it. From that moment on, he was hooked. For the next two years (ages five to seven), he constantly talked about the “blue and green team” and asked for a Seahawks jersey. I laughed it off, thinking he was little and would eventually grow out of it. Surely it was just a phase… right?

Then 2017 came around. When he was asked what theme he wanted for his birthday party, his answer was simple and confident: Seattle Seahawks. That was all he asked for and an actual Seattle Seahawks jersey—and he got it! It was a Russell Wilson jersey and he was beyond happy. Even then, I still thought, “Okay, this won’t last. Nobody around here is a Seahawks fan.” Well… here we are eight years later, and his love for this team is absolutely out of this world. Christian is truly a diehard Seahawks fan, and it’s honestly mind-blowing especially considering that no one around him roots for Seattle. This love is 100% his own.

This season, he even got to attend the home opener in Seattle against the Niners, in addition to the games we usually attend when the rivalry comes to Levi’s Stadium. Watching him experience this team he loves so deeply has been incredibly special! Now, Christian has one big dream: to attend the Super Bowl. Being there to watch his team—especially with the Super Bowl taking place right here at home, in the stadium where he grew up—would mean everything to him. We truly appreciate anything and everything. Thank you for supporting his dream, and let’s help get him to the Bowl.
