Help Christian Attend AIMS This Summer

Hi everyone! 

My name is Christian Bearse, and I am a senior at UMass Amherst studying Vocal Performance and Music Education. This summer, I was afforded the incredible opportunity to study and sing at the AIMS Institute (American Institute of Musical Studies) in Graz, Austria. The program is 6 weeks long, spanning from July 7th to August 17th. The institute has already offered me a scholarship; however, I will still need to cover $5,000 for the remainder of my tuition as well as overseas travel costs. Any help would truly mean the absolute world as I am currently a full-time student. 

This summer at AIMS would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me and a vital part of my training as I grow through this during the crucial early years of my career. Here are some of the wonderful opportunities I will have this summer:

    •    Individual voice lessons (twice weekly)

    •    Individual coaching on arias (twice weekly)

    •    Conversational German (Monday through Friday)

    •    Diction coaching in German, as well as Italian, French, English, and Russian

    •    Master classes

    •    An audition training seminar

    •    Musical/dramatic preparation
