Hi family and friends,

As many of you know Christi has been accepted to her dream school, VCU. She is majoring in Political Science with and concentration in Civil Rights. Her passion for justice, government and policy has drawn her in to their program.  Before she went to VCU she spent the past few years obatianing college credits to lower her expenses and maximize on her time there. Because of her work and passion she has received a full academic  merit scholarship  and scholarships  from NAACP and other local organizations.  As a result of her work and determination  she was able to go to Richmond  with all of her academics  and $5000 of her room and board paid for this year.

However,  she has a remaining  $5000 per semester  remaining  on her account to cover her room and board. 

In this moment she is  leaning on her village to help her pay for her housing so that she can stay at VCU to pursue her degree in political science with all of the convenience  and experience  of living on campus. ( Especially since she doesn't  drive or have a car).

Every little bit helps and all of your donations will go towards her housing payments.
