I am suffering from Long Covid and Cervical Spinal Stenosis. I am currently under treatment, but due to insurance changes for 2026, I am finding it difficult to cover the costs of the treatments, which up until January were helping me to recover. I am self-employed, and consistent work has been difficult to achieve as I have had to move to temporary housing with family to recover, which is in a different town than where I was practicing. Because I am not able to afford the treatments, I am suffering from setbacks after I had gained substantial progress. I am not able to pay personal or business expenses and my income is dramatically suffering from this. I have not had any income for 2026 so far, due to the physical setbacks and the inability to cover expenses. I am also facing the loss of important personal items, some of which are in storage, because I am so far behind on those bills.

The funds raised will help me continue testing and treatments to recover as much health as possible, cover travel expenses, pay for treatments and copays for all medical needs including physical therapy, and help me catch up on personal and business bills so I can regain my avenues of income. My insurance only covers a small portion of the physical therapy. I also need injections to help ease the debilitating pain so I can continue PT and regain some movement. Without treatment, the stenosis could result in nerves dying, which could render me partially paralyzed. With treatment, this can be stopped and perhaps even reversed some. The fundraising will help me continue my recovery and work toward regaining my health and independence. It will also help me keep my personal belongings safe while I work to get back on my feet.
