My name is Christen, and I’m reaching out for support during a challenging time. After a knee injury in 2022, I’ve been living with constant pain that has made it impossible to do the things I love — yoga, dancing, urban hiking, and participating in theater. The pain affects every part of my life, even making it hard to sleep at night.

I recently lost my full-time job, and while I have insurance, it really sucks. Right now, I urgently need an MRI to qualify for knee surgery, and I'll be responsible for an $800 copay. Without the MRI, I can’t move forward with further treatment or begin my recovery. The cost of the MRI is overwhelming, even with insurance, and I just can't afford all this sh*t right now.
