Help Christa's Recovery from Stage 3C Cancer

God bless you and thank you for taking time to click on this GoFundMe link. Unfortunately a dear friend of ours has come across a medical emergency—stage 3C colon cancer—and can greatly use the help of our community and friends.

If you know Christa, you know that she is the first one to jump in to help family, friends, and her community. She is also a small business owner—a salon owner and hairdresser—who carries the weight of many employees’ livelihood on her shoulders. By helping with her medial bills, we are helping to relieve that burden so she can concentrate on her treatment and recovery.

Here is a note from Christa, herself:

”The real truth is that I'm living proof of resilience. On October 28, I received my colonoscopy results and heard the life-changing words: "You have cancer." Though it felt like time stood still, my husband Case and I found the strength to face it together. We took things one step at a time, scheduling appointments with surgeons and oncologists, and I mustered up the courage to share the news with my loved ones. The journey ahead was daunting, but I was determined to stay strong. After 32 blood draws and a surgery on my birthday, November 26, I faced a tough recovery. Despite the challenges, I persevered, and with the support of my loved ones, I made it through the darkest days. I underwent another surgery to get a port, and though it was terrifying, it marked the beginning of my chemotherapy journey. The road ahead is long, but I'm fueled by the kindness of those who have rallied around me, bringing meals and offering monetary donations. Your support means the world to me, and I'm grateful for your presence in my life. I'm determined to emerge from this experience stronger, wiser, and more grateful.
