Hi, my name is Christa, and this is something I never imagined I’d need to write.

Over the past few years, dialysis and ongoing specialty medical care have become a necessary part of my life. While I’m deeply grateful to still be here and fighting, the reality is that the unexpected costs connected to my end stage renal disease, dialysis treatment, labs, medications, and specialty care have added up quickly.

I’ve done my best to manage quietly, but the financial strain has reached a point where I need help. This fund is to ease the weight of medical and living expenses so I can focus on staying stable, healing where possible, and continuing to show up for my family. I am unable to work while I wait for a kidney. And do not qualify for disability.
