Two days before Christmas, my daughter Christa Touzin and my grandson Jeffrey experienced a devastating fire in their apartment. The fire started in the kitchen and quickly spread, leaving them without a home and causing them to lose nearly all of their belongings. This tragedy struck at a time when families are meant to be together, making it even more heartbreaking for Christa and Jeffrey.

Christa is a single mother who has always put Jeffrey first, doing everything she can to provide him with a safe and loving home. Now, they are faced with the challenge of starting over from scratch. The money raised through this fundraiser will help Christa secure a new place to live and replace the essentials they lost—beds, furniture, clothing, and other necessities that make a house a home.
