Chrissy's mother was recently diagnosed with stage 4, metastatic breast cancer that has spread to her bone marrow. The doctors have said that chemotherapy is not an option at this point, and her best chance for treatment is a hormone-blocking medication. Unfortunately, this medication is very expensive even after insurance. Chrissy's mother is on social security and cannot afford this life-saving treatment on her own. Chrissy is doing everything she can to help, but with three children, it is still a far stretch to cover the cost of the medication.

Last year was incredibly difficult for Chrissy's family, as they lost her dad, grandmother, and uncle. They were hoping that this year would bring some peace and rest, but now they are facing another heartbreaking challenge.
