Help Chrissy and Charlie Rebuild After Fire

Hi, my name is Patricia Danielson and I'm helping the daughter and grandson of one of my closest friends to get back into her townhome in St. Michael after a devastating fire that destroyed everything they owned and killed her dog Oscar and cat Harvey. Fortunately neither she nor her son were home at the time and they are both safe. But they lost everything.

This GoFundMe is a way we can help them get back up on their feet and back to some sort of normal.

On Friday, May 24th Chrissy was out to dinner with a friend when she decided to check her pet cam to see what Oscar was up to. The first thing she saw was nothing, just gray. She panned over and then saw all black. After scrolling back in time a little bit she witnessed the flash of an electrical fire that started it all.

Quickly calling 911 she told the firemen that she had animals. She and her friend rushed home, arriving just as a first responder was carrying out her dog, limp in his arms. Both animals died from smoke inhalation.

For those of you who know Chrissy you know how much she adores animals and how important Oscar, who was a certified Emotional Support Animal was to the family.

Chrissy and Charlie are currently staying with her parents (my friends Dawn and Tom). Friends and family are helping go through the rubble to see if there is any memory that is salvageable. But the truth of it all is she and Charlie have to start from scratch. Furniture, clothes, sporting goods, electronics, kitchen stuff...all of it. I can't image what that must feel like.
