By donating, you are supporting my chemotherapy for Pancreatic and Thymoma cancer treatment (yes, I have 2 separate cancers), my medical bills, and living expenses due to not being able to work. My last paycheck was July 7th. I qualify for expedited SSDI, however so many workers have been fired which has meant leaving many, many phone and online messages that are not returned. The only message I’ve gotten said I will hear something in/around 280 days since submission which was in July. I have had no income since then.

I was diagnosed out of the blue with an orange-sized tumor in my chest, a thymic cancer that is rare, with 400 people a year being diagnosed. Through the PET scan to measure my Thymoma, my pancreatic cancer was found, and I currently do not qualify to be a surgery candidate since my tumor is wrapped around major arteries. If my tumor does shrink enough, I will have major reconstructive surgery that will take 6+ months of recovery and PT. But if it doesn’t shrink enough to qualify for surgery, my symptoms will be treated to make me comfortable, but I will be terminal.

I have a high percentage of recurrence in my lifetime and will always be fighting this one. I do qualify for Thymoma surgery, and this one will happen after the Whipple Procedure, if I do become a candidate. As of: October 12th, 2025, I do not qualify for surgery. My next scan is November 21st and we’re all hoping for some shrinkage, specifically the area encompassing those two main arteries.
