After a long, hard battle with ovarian cancer, my mom finally found peace Tuesday morning. When processing paperwork, my dad discovered her life insurance policy is worth almost nothing and will take 3-5 months to get to him.

So, myself and her other biological children are trying to cover the costs ourselves while trying to help Dad afford to stay in the house.

The memorial is almost $6800. We then need to look at his mortgage and HOA. Any donations made will help us cover costs tomorrow at the service and then go to supporting my father while he reclaims what’s left of his world around him.
