A Newlywed’s Fight: Supporting D.J. Through His Medical Battle

Just a few months ago, D.J. and Meg stood hand in hand, vowing to love and support each other through all of life’s ups and downs. They never imagined that one of their first major challenges as husband and wife would be a battle against illness.

For the past nine days, DJ has been in the hospital fighting a severe infection. His health struggles began weeks ago, forcing him to stop working as his condition worsened and he had emergency surgery to remove a burst appendix. Now, the mounting medical bills and living expenses are becoming overwhelming, and with no clear timeline for when he’ll be able to return to work, the financial strain is adding to an already heartbreaking situation.

This young man would do anything for anyone. Truly one of the kindest most generous souls.

Through all of this, Meg has been by his side, navigating the uncertainty and fear that come with watching the person you love suffer. No newlywed couple should have to start their marriage this way—worried about how they’ll keep a roof over their heads while fighting for health and healing.
