Help Chris' family in Redding, CA

As many of you may know, our friend Chris Wellock's family home in Redding, CA, was recently destroyed by the horrendous wildfires raging in that part of Northern CA. We are raising money to help Chris for the next few months as he goes back to Redding to try and help family and friends put their lives back together.
Before his family's home was destroyed, Chris was planning to go back for an extended visit to Redding to see and help with his dad, who is stricken with advanced-stage Parkinson's. Part of the plan was to work for a construction-related family business while there. In the advent of the fires, that may not be possible.
As a result, his co-workers at the Crown & Anchor in Austin decided we would try and talk him into letting us start this GoFundMe effort in order to help him cover some expenses while he is back home. After some cajoling, he agreed.
