Help John with his Cancer Journey

Help John fight his battle against cancer. I am helping raise funds for my uncle John (Chris) Ryan so he and his wife, Vicky, can get through his battle with cancer. A financial hardship came suddenly upon them due to uncovered medical costs and loss of work from his recent diagnosis of throat cancer. In July 2022, John and Vicky moved from San Diego, CA, where they had worked for many years, living in a one-bedroom apartment, to Cedar City, Utah. They moved there to realize their dream of home ownership in a more affordable place. In October, in the middle of closing escrow on their new home, John had a terrifying loss of breath and was helicopter life-flighted to ICU at St George Hospital. They saved his life. But while saving his life by opening his air passage, they discovered that the cause of the loss of breath was a cancerous tumor on his larynx. He has started his seven weeks of radiation and chemotherapy, which may need to be followed by surgery. They are trying to save his voice box in the treatment. Because of the move to a new state and jobs, John has gaps in medical coverage. They have an unknown amount of uncovered medical costs, combined with his loss of work for the cancer treatment, which could potentially even mean the loss of their newly purchased dream home. John has worked for many years driving a bus for the disabled in San Diego. He was known to be among the most friendly, polite, hardworking and safe drivers.
