Help Chris Battle Cancer and Get Life-Saving Care at Mayo Clinic
Just after Memorial Day, Chris went to the hospital for what we thought was kidney stone pain. But a CT scan revealed something far more serious—a large tumor in his abdomen. That moment flipped our world upside down. Doctors suspect it’s a rare and fast growing form of muscular cancer, and he’s now facing a long road of testing, treatment, and tough decisions.
Since that first scan, Chris has been seen by multiple oncologists at both the University of Minnesota and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Each visit brings new tests and mounting costs. Mayo offers the best possible care for his condition, but with that comes travel, lodging, meals, and the reality that Chris won’t be able to work for the foreseeable future.
Chris is the kind of guy who shows up. He’s a wonderful brother, son, father, stepfather, husband, grandfather and friend—the one who cracks a joke when you need it, grabs a wrench when something breaks, and brings life to any room (or car show) with his love for rat rods and loud engines. He’s spent his life helping others. Now, it’s our turn to help him.
We’re asking for support to ease the financial burden so Chris can focus on what matters most: staying strong and getting the care he needs. Funds raised will go toward temporary housing near Mayo, travel costs, uncovered medical expenses, and basic living expenses while he’s out of work.
Whether you’re able to donate or simply share this page, it all makes a difference. Thank you for standing with Chris and helping him take on this fight.
