In loving memory of Chris Tooley

Update:

Chris unfortunately did not have any life insurance which aside from all they are already dealing with is also now is very tough financially on his family. Let’s all pull together for his wife, Tamela and his kids as they face having to make unthinkable plans as well as surviving without their husband and father who always took care of them.
My name is Courtney Stovall and I am helping Chris Tooley and his family during a great time of need while he is battling cirrhosis of the liver, kidney failure and possible cardiac arrest.
Chris Tooley, a name many of you are familiar with, known to most as “Tooley” or “Coach Tooley” is in need of our help! From his dedication and service in the United States Marine Corps to his larger than life personality as a youth football coach as well as a softball coach, Chris has made an impact in many lives. He has coached high school football at Greer, Blueridge and JL Mann over the years. He also coached softball at Byrnes and Upward Star then went on to start his own travel softball team called the American Outlawz. His leadership, desire to be the best, and his love for the players and to make them better (on and off the field) made him special on the field.
However, it's who he is off the field that really counts. He is a husband, father of 4 Children and a papa to a new grandson and he is loved dearly.
Unfortunately, Chris is also in need of a liver transplant. Sadly, he became sick about eight months ago. He was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver about 6 months ago and things progressed very quickly. He has since been diagnosed with kidney failure and is on dialysis and facing a chance of cardiac arrest. He has been in and out of the local hospital and now has been transferred four hours away to MUSC in Charleston. He was then quickly transferred to ICU after only two days there. He was recently intubated and sedated. They tried to remove that to allow him to wake up. However, on the second day, he had four seizures within two hours and had to be intubated and sedated again. He is now on three powerful IV medications to keep his blood pressure up enough to survive.
At this time, due to his blood pressure as well as a few other things, the doctors seem to be giving up on him but we are not!
His wife Tamela is the only one that has been working and at this time due to him being hospitalized four hours away from home, she is not able to work at all. They have four beautiful children and a new grandson.
Chris has touched many lives for the good and it’s time for us to return the blessing. Let’s all pull together and take the financial burden and worry off of them as we pray for the best outcome in this difficult situation. Chris has been a large part of the community. If you are able to bless this family with a donation, no matter the amount, I know it will help them survive whatever may be ahead of them. Most importantly, if you can say a prayer for Chris and his family I know they would be forever grateful.
Thank you for your help for this family. May God bless you.
