On February 14th, we lost Angela Adams—beloved wife, aunt, sister, daughter, and best golden retriever mom—to suicide after a long and painful battle.
Angie was one of the most generous people I’ve ever known, supporting Chris through the ups and downs of life over the last 23 years, caring for her mother and grandmother, and generally being a light to many people in an otherwise dark world. Losing a soul like hers so unexpectedly is something unimaginable, and something that will never be healed. This family will never be the same without her, and neither will anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was so incredibly kind, caring, goofy and fun. Angie loved deeply. She was a devoted wife to my dad, Chris, and a proud fur mom to their golden retriever- Charlie. She was also an incredible aunt, friend, and human being.
Now Chris is left grieving the love of his life alone, not even a year after his own dad passed unexpectedly. He’s facing not only unimaginable heartbreak but also the financial weight of funeral expenses and the loss of dual income.
We’re asking for your help to raise $10,000 to support Chris in the coming days.
Funds will go toward:
• Funeral and memorial expenses
• Immediate financial support for Chris and Charlie
If you can give, even a little, it would mean so much. And if not, please share this story and pray for peace for the Burrus and Adams families. Let’s surround Chris with the same love Angie gave so freely to others.
Services are TBD at this time. Check Chris Burrus’s social media for updates.
Thank you for helping us carry this burden.
With love,
Sydnie Burrus
