Help Chris survive while in recovery

Hi, my name is Caitlyn Weiss and I am creating this fundraiser for my little brother, the strongest and most resilient young man. Chris might be strong, but needs us to be strong for him now, more than ever.

Chris, and our sister Chelsey, were in a serious accident on Saturday, Aug 19, 2023. An uninsured driver in a large uhaul truck ran a red light and tboned my sisters SUV on my brother's side, flipping them and pinning her into the vehicle, breaking Chris' neck and injuring the spine. Chelsey was thankfully dismissed later that day from the hospital as Chris was admitted to the ICU. We are so very grateful that they are both alive.

Chris is back in the hospital with a bleed on the spine. His fractured neck caused one of the vertebral arteries to be almost fully occluded and we are just watching for healing and symptoms of stroke now. The new issue with the spine will most likely need surgery and we all just want to alleviate any stress from his mind so that his body may focus on healing!

Every penny donated will go to Chris to help he and his 2 children survive, eat and pay their bills while he is out of work for at least the next 6 months. We still do not know the extent of these injuries or the time he will need to recover.
