Chances are if you recieved this then you already know me and you know my name is Chris Atwood. Know me or not, I’m reaching out during a difficult time for myself and my family. 2025 for me consisted of being without a job for over half the year, being hit with some unexpected expenses that quickly drained our savings and just bad timing for certain things. Just as things seemed to be turning around with a new job offer, we found ourselves facing the threat of foreclosure on our home. Once again the timing couldn’t have been worse, and the stress of trying to keep a roof over our heads while waiting to start work has been overwhelming.

Every dollar raised through this fundraiser will go directly toward catching up on our mortgage payments. This will allow us to use what little money we have left to cover other essential bills and keep our family afloat until my first paycheck arrives. Your support would mean the world to us, helping us stay in our home and giving us a chance to get back on our feet.

I want to be clear that I’m not asking for a handout or a donation, but for a loan. If you are kind and gracious enough to help us now, I promise to repay anything you contribute once I’m able.
