We've set up a GoFundMe account for Chris Roger with permission from his four children. All funds will be utilized to pay for costs relative to medical expenses, rehabilitation therapy, and loss of income expenses such as housing and utilities. If you know Chris, you know that he is quiet, but always cheerful and has a big smile with a positive outlook on life. He would ask for prayers, but wouldn’t ask for assistance.

Chris was recently diagnosed with Stage 3B Nodular Melanoma. His treatment plan involved receiving chemo with immunotherapy. After his second round of immunotherapy he developed rare but serious adverse side-effects including colitis, hepatitis, and nephritis resulting in multi-system organ failure. Chris required emergency surgery to remove most of his colon due to a perforation from the colitis. He remains in critical condition and has been transported to New Orleans for further intensive care. Current treatments include a tracheostomy, colostomy, and a feeding tube. Therapy rehab will be lengthy, and once home, medical supplies not covered by insurance will be costly.

This has been an extremely difficult time for Chris and his family. We would like to ease their financial burden so they can focus on healing, both mind and body. Any donation would be greatly appreciated by Chris and his family.
