Help Chris recover from airplane crash

Dear friends and family:

Our dear Christian Calero was in a plane crash on January 9, 2022. The crash occurred a few minutes after takeoff in the town of Uyuni due to a mechanical failure.

Fortunately, Christian survived, but he suffered significant injuries in the crash, including a burst fracture of his L1 vertebrae. Over the past few days, Christian has undergone several surgeries on his back and face.

Christian is currently recovering in intensive care, but is in significant pain and is unable to walk. Accordingly, Christian will need to undergo significant physical therapy to hopefully recover fully from the crash. However, he will be unable to work for a while.

Unfortunately, insurance in Bolivia only covers a small amount of the hospital and physical therapy costs.

Any donation you can provide during this trying time to help Christian with the hospital and physical therapy costs is greatly appreciated. Thank you all very much for your help.

Queridos amigos y familia:

A través de el siguiente relato de sucesos, queremos apelar a su colaboración ya que el día Domingo 9 de Enero del 2022, nuestro querido Christian Calero sufrió un accidente de aviación en la nave que llevaba a la localidad de Uyuni. El percance se produjo en la localidad de Uyuni pocos minutos después del despegue por una falla mecánica.

Lamentablemente las pólizas de seguro en el país de Bolivia cubren solo hasta cierto porcentaje de daños materiales y un menor porcentaje de daños físicos o a la vida. Tristemente por esta situación recurrimos a solicitar su ayuda para cubrir los gasto médicos que ya a momento exceden la cobertura médica que se le puede brindar a Christian sin tomar en cuenta su posterior recuperación y fisioterapia.

A Dios gracias Christian esta estable después de varias cirugías incluyendo a la columna vertebral, maxilofacial y plastica. En estos momentos Christian aun no puede ponerse de pie o caminar ya que los daños a la columna vertebral han sido bastante serios pero con tiempo y paciencia nuestro amado Christian volverá a caminar pronto.

Cualquier donativo o ayuda que quieran brindar a Christian sera enormemente agradecida y con la bendición de Dios Christian podrá recuperarse pronto. Muchas gracias a todos.
