Hi, my name is Beth and I’d like to introduce you to Chris. Chris is a caregiver by nature and vocation, to his mom and many along his path in need, but now he is in need of a caregiver himself. I was planning on starting this with his permission a couple of weeks ago, when things took another turn for the worse. He was hit from behind in his car again last week, exacerbating his already very fragile state. He has been rear-ended while driving now, twice in the last year and can barely function. Chris has lost his job and his healthcare and no longer has any resources to speak of. Chris’s family still needs help as well, and he is now unable to care for them. Chris has been in and out of emergency rooms as well as doctors' offices and desperately needs physical therapy. His medical bills are upwards of multiple thousands of dollars, but he is unable to work.

This is his timeline:

02/24 to 05/24: Neurologic scans show white matter injury in the frontal lobe and axonal shearing at multiple brain region connecting synapses. Orthopedic imaging reveals SEVEN new disc herniations, spread throughout all three major spinal regions (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar).

06/12/24: 60-Day Leave of Absence begins.

08/12/24: 60-Day Leave of Absence expires. Employment Termination email received.

08/22/24: Reported to Neurology appointment, only to be told that my specialist has quit practicing six days prior to my appointment. I wasn’t contacted, and not only this, I was told that in order to be seen, I would have to establish myself as a NEW patient.

08/31/24: Medical insurance ran out.

09/11/24: Rear-ended again, while stopped at a red light. Driver is issued a Distracted Driving citation due to cellphone use.

I spend about 90% of my time sleeping, between the date of the incident to this morning.

Today Chris and his family need our help! Please open your hearts to such a wonderful human being, who has spent his life in service to others! It is time for us to help him now.
