Help Chris Templeton recover after leg amputation

Donation protected
My brother Chris has fallen on hard times. My dad and I are setting up this GoFundMe in the hopes of alleviating some financial stress. He has a long road ahead of him.

On September 6, Chris was admitted to the ER at Kershaw Medical Center in Camden, SC. Less than 24 hours later he was told that his right leg would need to be amputated due to a severe skin and bone infection. On September 8, Chris' medical team successfully amputated his lower right leg. While in good spirits, Chris continues to fight Charcot Foot in his remaining left foot. Charcot Foot is a rare complication of diabetic neuropathy.

Chris faces many mental and physical challenges in his days to come. His physical complications have limited his ability to work, which has resulted in job and health insurance loss. Chris is patiently waiting for Medicaid and Disability, but with a 400+ day processing timeframe, he is in desperate need of support to cover the costs of his recovery. Chris will need mobility assistance such as prosthetics and wheelchairs. He will also need physical therapy, diabetic medications, as well as assistance with hospital bills.

We are hoping to make his transition home as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Any amount that you can help with would be greatly appreciated beyond measure. All prayers and positive energy are needed and welcomed.
