My name is Chris, and last July my life changed in an instant. While playing basketball, I suffered a heart attack that not only threatened my life but also resulted in losing my teeth. The weeks and months that followed were some of the hardest I’ve ever faced. I had to relearn how to walk, talk, and manage daily life. I lost my memory for a time, and the emotional toll was just as heavy as the physical one. My wife (who was only my wife for 2 months prior) stood by me through it all, but the stress and strain on both of us was immense. There were days when I was angry or needy, and I know it wasn’t easy for her. She took on the burden of our rent and bills while I focused on recovery, and I am so grateful for her strength and patience.
The financial impact of my heart attack has been overwhelming. I’m now back at work, but the months without income left us behind on rent, medical bills, and even a student loan payment. We’ve done everything we can to stay afloat, but the weight of these expenses is still heavy. I’m reaching out for help to cover the rent payments my wife managed alone, the medical bills from my heart attack and dental injuries, and the missed student loan payment that piled up during my recovery. Your support will help ease this burden and allow me to focus on healing and rebuilding my life.
To everyone who takes the time to read this, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Just considering supporting me during this season means more than I can truly express. This experience has been humbling, challenging, and life-changing, and recovery has required patience, perseverance, and faith. Your support—whether through a donation, a share, or a prayer—helps ease the financial pressure I’ve faced while focusing on healing and rebuilding my life. It allows me to move forward one day at a time without the constant weight of uncertainty. I am deeply grateful for any help or encouragement you’re able to offer. Knowing that I’m not walking this road alone gives me strength and hope as I continue this journey. Thank you for being part of my recovery and for helping me take the next steps forward!
