Chris has always been the one to step up when others are in need. He serves our community as both a Firefighter/EMT and an ER Technician, working two jobs to provide for his family and to continue doing what he loves most — helping people. He has dedicated countless hours to responding to emergencies, comforting families in crisis, and being there for strangers on some of the hardest days of their lives.

Recently, while on his way to work on his bicycle (4mile bike ride), Chris was involved in an accident that resulted in a broken collarbone. The injury has put him out of work, and even though he has benefits, they do not cover his current cost of living. As many of us know, first responders rely heavily on physically being able to work, and when they get hurt, the financial strain becomes overwhelming very quickly.

Chris has given so much of himself to this community with honor, integrity, and compassion. Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.

I created this fundraiser to give back to someone who has spent his life serving others. Any amount helps — whether it’s $5 or simply sharing this page. Let’s show Chris that we have his back the same way he has had ours. First responders look out for each other, and we know our community stands strong in supporting our hometown heroes.

All proceeds will go directly to Chris and his family to help cover rent, utilities, food, and basic living expenses while he recovers.
