Chris has always been the first to step up when his community needed him. For over two years, he volunteered with Custer County EMS, working long 12-hour shifts to help neighbors in crisis. He also served with the Florence Fire Department, dedicating his time and energy to keep others safe. As a local business owner, Chris has sponsored school wrestling and football teams, donating both money and countless hours to support local youth. His generosity and commitment have touched many lives in Custer and Fremont counties.

Now, Chris is facing a challenge he never expected. A devastating gas leak caused an explosion and fire that destroyed his home, vehicles, and everything he owned. In an instant, years of hard work and cherished memories were lost. Chris is unsure what direction to take, but he knows he needs to find a way to keep moving forward. His immediate goal is to purchase a used RV to live in on his property, giving him a place to stay while he begins the long process of cleanup and rebuilding. He also needs to replace his work vehicle so he can continue running his construction business and start to rebuild his life from the ground up.
