- Hi, my name is Kathy Porter and I'm fundraising for my family. On July 28th, 2021 my husband was hospitalized due to respiratory failure from covid. He worked a full-time job as an Electrician. Since his hospitalization, I have had to take Family Medical Leave (FMLA). Although FMLA secures my job it doesn't bring in any resources. I am currently applying for Unemployment for Chris, Food Stamps, and other ways to help pay the bills. I am waiting for approval for these applications but meanwhile, monthly bills are still due.
