My name is Christopher Hutt (“Chris”), and I’m reaching out in a time of urgent need. Over the past few months, my life has taken an unexpected and difficult turn. I lost my job suddenly, then shortly after my car was hit and required repairs. Just as I thought I was getting back on my feet driving for Uber, my vehicle’s engine suffered a major failure leaving it inoperable. I'm at a the point of desperation.

These challenges have left me struggling to keep up with the basics of life—rent, utilities, food, and the costs of essential transportation. I have exhausted my savings and options, and I don’t have anyone else to lean on financially. Admittedly, it is not easy to ask for help, but I am doing everything I can to hold things together and find a way forward.

The funds from this campaign will go directly toward:

• Paying overdue rent and utility bills before being evicted

• Covering basic necessities

• Repairing my vehicle so I can reliably search for and maintain work

• Covering the final deposit for my Chapter 7 bankruptcy case, which will give me the fresh start I need.
