Help Chris Overcome His Accident Aftermath
Donation protected
Hi everyone! My name Charleen and my grandson, Chris Gosnell-Johnson, needs our help. He was in a head-on collision due to a drunk driver. Chris received several broken bones from ribs to feet along with internal injuries.
After being unable to work for 2 months, he was finally going to be released this week to return on light duty at the Laurens County Jail where he has been a Detention Deputy for several years.
Chris suffered severe pain in his side while at home Saturday night (May 4) and was taken to the emergency room. An ultrasound showed that the damage sustained from his seatbelt to his waist and side had caused a huge hematoma and it had abscessed. He had to have emergency surgery to get the infection removed. The wound has to heal from the inside out and has a drainage pump with dressings that a home care nurse must change 3 times a week. His doctor is adamant that Chris cannot go back to work because of the open wound and possibility of getting it reinfected.
Chris has exhausted all vacation time and sick days that he had saved up. Now he needs our help!
Please help financially to meet his monthly bills and buy groceries if you are able. Chris has a strong desire to return to work but it’s just not possible right now. Believe me when I say that any amount you can give is greatly appreciated and needed. No amount is too small. Thank you so much in advance.
