Help Chris & Liv with Lady's medical bills
Donation protected
For those of you who personally know Chris and Liv, then you most likely got to meet their fur baby, Lady. Lady was beyond loved by not only them but by anyone who was lucky enough to get the chance to meet her.
In the beginning of 2021, Chris and Liv noticed a lump on Lady and she had it surgically removed in March. It thankfully ended up being benign but the recovery was tough and she ended up having to undergo anesthesia twice in the same day because of a fluid issue. She was acting strange after her surgery and she developed a cough. After multiple tests, the doctors found that she was in complete heart failure and that she had fluid in her heart and stomach. It wasn’t caught sooner because she didn’t have a heart murmur and because she was so young, no one thought to check her heart. They believe the anesthesia must have exasperated it or it was something she had prior to the surgery. The doctors said the next 24-48 hours were critical and they explained to Chris and Liv that Lady would have 6 months to a year of life left. They had her on oxygen while in the hospital and was supposed to be sent home and be given supplemental oxygen pills.
They were updated multiple times on Sunday and they even were told that Lady was doing better. At 1am on Monday, Chris and Liv received the call that Lady had gone into cardiac arrest while asleep and they couldn’t revive her.
Every doctor is in disbelief, they don’t understand how this could have happened.
Chris and Liv are still in shock and have no words.
They did everything they could for Lady and are now left with the immense medical bills.
All donations are beyond appreciated and no donation is too small.
Lady left this world way too soon. In her 4 years, she had touched the lives of so many people.
Chris and Liv are overwhelmed with the outpouring love people had for Lady
