Help Chris & Levacy Catch Up on Mortgage
Donation protected
Hello all. My name is Chris Dandino and I have a wife and daughter. In October of last year (2024), my wife Levacy lost her brother, who was survived by his two sons, now ages 18 and 15. At the time, we were living in a two-bedroom apartment when we took his sons in because family takes care of each other. The boys' mother is barely in the picture, though she was sending money to help take care of them with food and the like. But we needed a new and larger place to live in as our family suddenly grew, and a two-bedroom apartment just couldn't accommodate.
So we began house hunting and found one within our price range. My wife is the only one working right now, and I am looking for a job so that we may live comfortably without worries. Money is tight, but we can manage with everything we need.
As of last month, the boys' mother has stopped all communication with us and has seemingly disappeared without notice. Which brings me to why I created this. As I stated, on my wife's paycheck we can afford this house, and I have been looking for a job to lift that burden off of her being the sole money maker of the house. Because for the months since taking in the boys, their mother has been sending us money monthly to help take care of our nephews, her kids, we had put that money into our counted budget for expenses.
Her absence has left us unable to pay our mortgage for last month and now this month as we had made our budget with her payment in mind. So starting next month, we are readjusting our budget accordingly, but that leaves us two months behind.
We have been donating plasma to make up a little bit of what we can, but that only goes so far.
So I am asking for assistance to just get us caught up. I've never done this before and don't even know if I'm going about this right, but I have to try what I can. If you made it this far, I appreciate you for just reading this. Thank you for your time. Anything helps.
