Help Chris LaSarge-Schultz recover from cancer

If you know Chris La Sarge Schultz, then you know that not only is she one of the kindest, funniest, and most caring people we know and love, but she is possibly the strongest single Mom, Daughter, Sister and Friend that anyone could ever possibly be blessed to have in their lives.
Recently Chris was diagnosed with breast cancer. At a routine appointment she was advised to have further testing immediately. The tests began within a few days including sonograms and mammogram. Naturally the tension and anxiety grew while waiting for the results. Finally, on May 23, 2019 Chris received her diagnosis, which was positive for breast cancer. And so the long road of scheduling all of her doctor’s appointments began. Chris knew the decisions that she was about to face would be exhausting, complicated, difficult and challenging both physically and emotionally. These decisions would affect her for the rest of her life.
On June 26, 2019 Chris had double mastectomy surgery and she will continue to have more appointments and procedures for a complete reconstruction.
At this time Chris will not be able to work for a minimum of 8-10 weeks. Plans for work logistics, medical leave options, and financial responsibilities are being considered as she is a single mother. There is still so much unknown that lies ahead and the weight of it all is exhausting and overwhelming. Seeing her go through this and knowing that after the fight, she’ll be recovering in an accumulation of medical bills is overwhelming to think of.
We want to give everyone who wants to help an opportunity to do so. Chris has spent her whole life doing so much for those around her. We can return the love that she has given others and make her burden a little lighter by donating any denomination toward her medical bills and living expenses while she’s recovering. Thank you so very much. Your support will offer her the peace of mind needed to focus all of her energy and thoughts on healing after her surgeries. Let’s show her just how much the people she loves have her back and are fighting along her side!
