Help Chris Kolanko and family

Hello friends and family. As many of you know, Christopher (Chris) Kolanko is currently undergoing the treatment of pancreatic cancer. Treatment for this illness is difficult physically and emotionally, but also financially. Our hope is to ease some of that burden for this amazing family and to provide some comfort during this time.

Chris has been married to his best friend Donna for over 30 years and together they have two awesome children – Kylie and Colton. Chris served our country for 24 years as a Navy Commander, fighting for all of us. Donna works in health care and has provided much compassion to many patients and their families.

Chris is now entering clinical trials that require frequent travel to Richmond, Virginia (Massey Cancer Center). In addition, he will continue to see the providers in Pittsburgh, PA (Hillman Cancer Center – Shadyside) and the oncologists at West Virginia University. Chris and his family will need to pay for much of this treatment out of pocket, which is quickly adding up. Travel itself, the need for hotel stays and days off work, all help to add to the growing bill.

It is often uncomfortable to ask for such assistance; however this can provide the opportunity to give something tangible and to help a family that we all care so much about. Thank you all so much for your ongoing love, support and encouragement.
